HM The King becomes Patron of the RSSG

The Council has great pleasure in advising that, to mark the first anniversary of Their Majesties Coronation, His Majesty The King has done us the great honour in accepting the Patronage of the Royal Society of St George. This means that every reigning monarch since Queen Victoria has been the Society’s Patron.

We are very honoured that he has taken on this role that his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, did so wonderfully for us for so long. I am sure he will be equally supportive of us as we look to the future.

We do hope we see as many of you as possible at our upcoming 130th Anniversary Banquet on 12th July, where we can celebrate this great news in style!

The related press release can be found here.

God save the King!

Nick Dutt

Chairman
